From August 3 to 7, 2026, a transnational partner meeting was held in the town of Puente Genil in the Spanish region of Andalusia as part of the Erasmus+ KA2 project “Inclusive Pathways to Peace”. The meeting, titled “Pathways to Peace Network,” was held at the headquarters of the Spanish partner organization Erasmiau.
The meeting was attended by representatives of partner organizations: Nikolina and Lara from Association Studio B, Croatia; Saša and Vuk from Udruženje Svetlost, Serbia, Christia and Andri from YEU Cyprus, and the hosts from the youth organization Erasmiau -Magdalena and Juan Jesus.
During two days of intensive work, the partners analysed progress to date and set the schedule and responsibilities for upcoming activities. Special emphasis was placed on reviewing and finalizing two e-learning modules, dissemination activities, the monitoring and evaluation process, and the development of three additional educational escape rooms.
Guidelines for conducting in-depth interviews and focus groups were also reviewed, with the Cypriot representatives sharing initial experiences and participant’s feedback. As part of the meeting, a comprehensive database was created for the “Pathways to Peace” network, bringing together NGOs, schools, decision-makers, academia, and media across all four partner countries. All project outputs will be delivered to the network in the coming period, and its representatives will be involved in the final project evaluation.
The program also included a study visit to the municipality of Marinaleda, known for implementing principles of solidarity, equality, and direct democracy. Through conversations with residents, participants had the opportunity to learn about the unique socio-economic system of the community.
The partners are especially proud of the strong youth participation throughout the project. Young people were not passive recipients of activities, but active co-creators of the project results. This was evident at the meeting, where three young people made key decisions alongside the project coordinators and project manager.
As the project enters its final stage, all developed educational materials will be publicly released over the next two months, and an in-depth evaluation will be conducted. A final conference will take place in September, where guidebooks for practitioners will be presented to the public and expert community to promote the dissemination and cross-sectoral application of project results.
